Training session on reviving new dreams to teen mothers and vulnerable women through trust building with the other members of the society: The role of local government and its stakeholders
Overview On 16 May 2022, the Rwanda Journalists Association organized a training session aimed at equipping journalists with the knowledge and skills to advocate for the rights and well-being of teen mothers and vulnerable women. The focus of the training was on reviving new dreams for these individuals through trust building with local government and other stakeholders.

Participants: A total of 20 journalists, comprising 10 men and 10 women, actively participated in the training.
Objectives
– Raise awareness among journalists about the challenges faced by teen mothers and vulnerable women in Rwanda.
– Enhance journalists’ understanding of the role of local government and stakeholders in supporting and empowering these individuals.
– Equip journalists with effective communication and storytelling techniques to amplify the voices and experiences of teen mothers and vulnerable women.
– Foster collaboration between journalists, local government, and stakeholders to create a supportive environment for teen mothers and vulnerable women.
